Diethylcarbamazine Citrate Tablets are an antiparasitic medicine used to treat filarial infections caused by parasitic worms such as Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi, and Loa loa. It works by killing both the larval and adult forms of the parasites, helping reduce swelling, pain, and inflammation associated with filariasis (elephantiasis). It is also effective against tropical eosinophilia and certain other parasitic infections.
